If you own a 2000-2005 Cadillac Deville you are probably aware of the window problem with the cable regulators. The cables pull the window up and down on a metal cross bracket. The motor is attached to the regulator. 

When shopping you will find these are available with or without replacement motors. I strongly advise you to buy these Without the motor. The motor in your door was made by Valeo of Mexico and is one of the best quality motors available. The after market motors are made in Taiwan or China and will not give you the same life as the original. We have installed well over 1000 of these, only twice was the motor an issue. 

Changing the Cadillac Deville window regulator is easier than you might think. We supply photo instructions with these and there are three 10mm nuts that hold the regulator to the door, two 10mm nuts that secure the bracket to the glass, and three torx screws that attach the motor to the regulator.
